What is MAXtap?
MAXtap is a credit card rewards optimization tool that helps users decide which credit card in their wallet can provide the most value for a purchase. Users add the type of credit card they have to their MAXtap wallet from our catalogue — without entering card numbers or banking credentials. They can then search for a merchant or spending category, and MAXtap compares the applicable rewards, cashback, points, miles, bonuses and card rules to recommend which of their cards may provide the most value for that purchase. Users can also track purchases and estimated rewards across the cards they have added to their MAXtap wallet.
How MAXtap uses Google Sign-In
Google Sign-In is offered as a secure way for users to create and access their MAXtap account. When a user chooses Google Sign-In, MAXtap uses basic Google account information required for authentication and account access. MAXtap does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or other Google account content. Google account information obtained through Google Sign-In is used only for authentication and account access.
